A Good Story

Complete the following:
Three things I learned about storytelling are that when looking at paintings you must consider every detail taking place during that time to find the true story, a good story has to have a journey and a character that changes’, looking at a book cover tells its own story not what’s inside, but the most important thing I learned is to make meaning of something, you cannot just base the meaning off of one story.

Read Chapter 5: Composing Across Media
“Online media composition tools, available at students’ fingertips, make it easier than ever for learners to experience the power of authorship” (Hobbs, pg.85).
I completely agree with this quote. This chapter talked about students being the authors when working on projects for classes. When students are given media composition tools they are the author. They are in charge of what they are writing and they decide what they want to write about.

I chose this image with this quote on it because I think that it goes right along with my quote from the chapter and the overall meaning from chapter 5.
